Drying of seed maize is the most important phase of maize seed processing. Based on an analysis of influence of the drying parameters, a model for seed maize dryer operation has been devised and expressed in the form of an algorithm and a computer program that will objectify the process of operation and synthetically control the technological parameters and operating instructions issued to the operating components. A study has been defined that will determine that the process will be more economical and reliable if the studied parameters are controlled objectively and optimally with minimum consumption of heat and electric energy to eliminate the risks of seed quality reduction. Components of the operating system will be checked in the facilities of seed processing centers with analysis of the hardware portion of the automatic operation system (sensors, operating components and computer equipment).
