In this work we investigated the influence of zeolite (Minazel Plus) addition (2 g/kg green mass) on maize silage quality with or without urea (5 g/kg green mass), and with or without beans grown as an under-crop. The use of Minazel Plus had significant influence in all parameters of chemical composition and biochemical changes in all whole maize plant silage. On treatments with urea and beans there was significant increase in crude protein content and the fermentation was more intensive. The changes were not significant according to Flieg and DLG silage scoring systems, so that all silages were ranked as the second class. According to Zelter silage scoring system all silages were the third class, while the treatment with urea was the fourth quality class.
