Regards the fact Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae could be essential for managing of the respiratory diseases complex of pigs, our attention was to evaluate the extent of its presence in the complex of respiratory diseases of piglets and fattening pigs in the broader region of Sremska Mitrovica, Serbia. The studies were equivalently carried on two farms in two seasons of the year (spring and autumn). The piglets with evident clinical signs originated from sows which were not vaccinated against Mycoplasma. The presence of Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae was confirmed from the material acquired for analysis, by means of serodiagnostic methods, as well as the presence of PRRS virus, in mutually examined farms, in both observed seasons of the year, at the Scientific Veterinary Institute in Novi Sad, Serbia. There were two antibiotics used for treatment, Draxxin and Floron, correspondingly. During the studies there were no significant differences in the proportion of the diseases of respiratory duct, between examined farms in both seasons of the year. Application of Respisur vaccine at the 7th and 21st day of the piglets age, provides solid immunity for the respiratory syndrome in the stage of fattening. In terms of therapy, there was better effect achieved with single dose of Draxxin, compared with equally applied Floron, what was often the case in piglets which originated from unvaccinated litters.
