The quality of lucerne and maize grown on alluvial soil near Skopje [The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia]

In this work there was examined the influence of physical, chemical and microbiological characteristics of the soil on the quality of grain and stalk of maize and lucerne (the root and the part above ground). The experiment took place on alluavial type of soil on two different locations near Skopje. There has been established the content of N, P2O5, K2O, cellulose, organic and mineral material, hydroscopic moisture and protein in the plant material of maize and lucerne.
