This paper presents production results obtained in three groups of broilers. Bird were fed balanced feedmixes, which were subjected to microbiological and hygiene testing. First group was fed feedmix to which no coccidiostatics were added, while the second and third group received Salinomycine and Amprolium, respectively, in the drinking water. Body mass of broilers and feed conversion were calculated periodically during the fattening period, indicating that best production results were obtained in the group fed Amprolium, followed by the group fed Salinomycine. Birds fed feedmix to which no coccidiostatics were added did not develop clinical signs of coccidiosis; however, positive oocyst-finding and decreased production results were observed, indicating the indispensability of anticoccidials even in appropriate hygienic-technical condit.
