The first pepper hybrid have been created at the Centre for Vegetable Crops in Smederevska Palanka, Serbia, by crossing new lines with male sterility gene ms-3 and selected genotypes from pepper collection. Created hybrids have higher yield, quality fruits and early ripening. This paper is the results of comparative trial in controlled conditions. Pepper varieties Zupska Rana, Zlatna Medalja, Palanacka Kapija and Duga Bela, as well as new hybrid Mona F1 were the research material in order to observe the most important pepper traits.
