Methyl bromide has been used for soil fumugation more than forty years. Brome from methyl bromide reaches atmosphere and cause ozone layer depletition and formation of ozone hole. By the Montreal Protocol adopted 1992, this fumugant must be phased out by 2005 in Western countries and 2015 in developing countries. Several chemicals which are used for soil fumugation alone or in combination were tested as possible alternatives to methyl bromide. At the present the best alternatives is mixture of chloropicrin and 1,3 dichlorpropen. This mixture are not sufficiently efficient to weeds control, that is way they are less efficient than methyl bromide. This paper gave the presentation of research of chemical and chemical alternatives of paste control in soil for agricultural plants cultivation.
