During 2006 and 2007 phytocoenological surveys of railway on directions Novi Sad - Vrbas, Novi Sad - Orlovat, Novi Sad - Becej, Belgrade - Novi Sad, Ruma - Sabac - Zvornik were performed. On certain sections dominant weed species were determined, as well as their number and coverage. Based upon this were given solutions for their chemical control. Depending upon weedy vegetation the following herbicides were used: flumioxazine + glyphosate, imazethapyr + glyphosate.
