The present review paper discusses global warming and the impact the increasing temperature and more frequent droughts have on agricultural production via their effects on the reproduction of thermophilic and xerophilic pests of field crops. The paper describes the mass reproduction in Serbia (primarily in the Province of Vojvodina) of about 15 pest species or pest groups, including cereal aphids, sugar beet root aphid, Sunn pests, wheat scarabs, apple blossom beetle, barley flea beetle, beet weevil, beet armyworm, beet moth, cotton vole, etc. The data presented in the paper are for the last two decades, as this is the period during which global climate changes became a concern.
