The paper review the presence of seeds (fruits) of weed plants at different depths of soil (0-10 cm, 10-20 cm, and 20-30 cm) under corn, a major crop grown in Serbia. Soil samples have been collected in the location of Vajska (Backi region) and Kikinda (Banat region). In addition to the data about presence of weed species, the paper discusses other analytical results referring to the proportion of seeds (fruits) in different soil layers under corn, taxonomy of the weed species identified, their life forms and bioindicator values of their ecological indexes.
