The paper deals with the issue and procedures of forest regeneration by sowing with using the technology of sowing into growing cells patented in the Czech Republic. The technology was verified for three years in different site and climatic conditions on eight tree species. The technology has a good ambition to be widely used in practice namely in the sowing of larger seeds of hardwoods in general, and on sites with extreme soil and climatic conditions where the application of containerized planting stock usually fails.
