Influence of pendimetalin herbicide upon soil microflora

The current study focused on the investigation of the herbicide effect of pendimetalin applied at two rates 400ml/da and 500ml/da upon soil microflora on humus carbonate soil. The experiment was carried out during the period of 2005-2006. As a result of done investigation it was found out that the pendimetalin at the condition of dry up until 15th day after application reduce the quantities of the soil microflora. The disturbances balance between different groups of microorganisms until 60th day after application presented that dry up conditions influenced on decomposition of the herbicide.
