On the role of lungs surfactant complex in pathogenesis of newcastle disease [AND BIRD H5N1 FLU]

The ultrastructural changes flowing in the lung surfactant complex and interaction of his components with B1 strain viruses of broiler chickens at 25 days of age after aerosol vaccination with B1 strain of Newcastle disease virus (NDV) was studied. The dynamics of the ultrastructural changes of the surfactant complex were investigated. The results of electron microscope studies confirmed that almost all components of lung surfactant complex were affected by aerosol vaccination. As a result an embarrassed breading, depression, gasping, coughing, sneezing and refuse of feeding were provoked. The present of viruses among layers of surfactant or roundabout by them close to pneumocyte II type and their changed very long microvilli as well as the present of viruses in process of incoming into pneumocyte II type by surfactant membrane sleeves and into intracellular vacuole of pneumocyte II type and macrophages together with surfactant is the reason to thing that invasion of pneumocyte II type and macrophages by NDV realize by mediation of surfactant.
