Results of the development of new forms of complex mineral fertilizers with the trace nutrient elements and biologically active substances for carrot (Daucus carota L.) cultivation in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus and their influence on crop yielding capacity and quality were presented and proved their advantage over the monodirectional standard fertilizers. Application of the complex nitrogen-phosphorous-potassium chlorine-containing fertilizers for Lyavonikha variety of carrot on sod-podzolic light loamy soils made it possible to obtain yields of 456-500 c/ha, at the same time, after the application of nitrogen-phosphorous-potassium chlorine-free fertilizers carrot yield was 474-502 c/ha, and after the standard solid mineral fertilizers mixture – 439-468 c/ha. The optimal dose of complex chlorine-containing fertilizers for carrot cultivation was N70P65K102 (237 kg/ha), the best dose of the chlorine-free ones was N70P38K118 (189 kg/ha). Analysis the observed complex chlorine-containing or chlorine-free fertilizers showed that their application made it possible to obtain higher carrot yields on 38-55 c/ha, including standard product output of 13-35 c/ha, dry matter output of 4,5-6,9 c/ha in comparison with the application the standard fertilizer mixtures with the standard product output of 81,5-84,5%. The advantage of chlorine-free complex fertilizers over the chlorine-containing ones was proved by the lowered content on nitrates
