The results of the mineralogical research of the physical clay of the agrosod-carbonated light-loam soils which are developed on the soil-forming rocks of different genesis are given. The mineralogical composition of clay ( 0,001 mm) and silt (0,001-0,005, 0,005-0,01 mm) fractions is represented by the association clay and unclay minerals. Clay minerals consist of the hydromica, illite (35-82%), caolinite (16-33%), vermiculite (9-30%), smectit. Unclay minerals consist of the calcite, aragonite, dolomite, fliuorite and clay-sized quartz. In fractions of silt and a small dust of soil forming rock of agrosod-carbonated light-loam soils which are developed on chalks (cut № 2B-04), and also an average dust on all profile the clay minerals are not defined because of prevalence calcite and crystal quartz in preparations as carbonates in fractions were not exposed to destruction. For this reason reflexes of clay minerals on X-ray diffraction patterns are poorly intensive, also that is not enough for their quantitative definition, but with confidence it is possible to confirm about their presence at samples of investigated soil
