On cattle breeding in Belarus it is necessary 61% of a gain from realization of all kinds of production of animal industries. From this share of 62% provide sales of milk and 38% - meat. At present level of productivity the green weight of natural meadows and pastures, and also long-term grasses on an arable land is estimated approximately in 12 million t fodder units in a year. Its use will allow to receive 5 million t of milk and 500 thousand t of beef. Immediate tasks of domestic animal industries: in public sector it is necessary to make 8-8,2 million t of milk for a year. For maintenance of self-support and self-financing of the cattle-breeding enterprises the yield of milk from one cow should make not less than 7 thousand in kg a year. It is necessary annual sale of 10 thousand goals of breeding young growth (that is necessary at present quantity of cows quite realizable). Now the mid-annual yield of milk from a cow is equal 4456 kg. Improvement of a state of affairs in cattle breeding will be promoted by growth of efficiency of the fodder grounds, allowing economy in the maximum degree to provide cattle with the forages balanced on all food elements. For increase in efficiency at improvement, first of all, feedings of cows it is necessary to work seriously over quality of dairy herds. Improvement of a state of affairs should be promoted by the accelerated development of meat cattle breeding. According to the Republican program on breeding business in animal industries, already by the end of 2010 it is planned to extend technology of meat cattle breeding to 200 thousand cows
