[Methodical aspects of creation and functioning of primary credit cooperative]

The article shows methodical aspects of formation and functioning of primary credit cooperative. On the basis of examined experience, both foreign and domestic the following suggestions to improve some aspects of primary credit cooperative activity have been developed: selection of potential members of cooperative; determination of sources of cooperative assets formation; formation of reserve fund. The expediency of development of wide network of rural credit cooperation proves to be true the following: there is a positive experience of functioning of credit cooperation as in Belarus, and in abroad which testifies to its adequacy to market conditions; credit cooperation specializes on service of small and average subjects of the managing which demand for financial resources increases, and is not satisfied with commercial banks; due to credit cooperation there is mobilization of temporarily free money resources of the population and movement of monetary streams taking into account concrete interests of its members; credit cooperation is capable to provide better return of a loan because of close contact between members, to act as the guarantor of the collective credit at external sources; the problems facing to agricultural consumer credit cooperative societies, are as economic, that is connected with expansion of agrarian manufacture, and social, that is directed to improvement of a standard of life of inhabitants of rural areas
