The effect of land leveling were evaluated on spatial variability and distribution of soil physical and chemical properties, their linear relation ships and fertility of paddy soils. (Case studies were Khosrou Abad and Dakhel field units). In both fields a grid- sampling approach was used to characterize pre- and postleveling soil chemical and physical properties. Result of this study demonstrate that land leveling and anthropogenic soil disturbance causes significant alteration of the frequency distribution, spatial variability, linear relation and fertility status of many soil chemical, physical and properties nutrient elements. Clay content increased and organic carbon, N, P and K contents decreased significantly in Khosrou Abad farmunit, Potassium content decreased and phosphorous content increased significantly as a result of land leveling. Land leveling also altered many linear relationships of a many soil chemical and physical properties. Phosphorous available was increased and potassium available was decreased significantly in Dakhel farm unit with minimum land leveling. Available phosphorous and potassium showed intensive variation in feildunit because of unsuitable use of topsoil for the creasion of between fieldunit reads. Spatial similarity decreased and non- uniformity and indepence of variables increased as a result of land leveling. Follow land leveling membership value of Khosrou abad field unit to class III (sever constraint to nutrient uptake) increased and membership value of Dakhel field unit to class I (no constraint to nutrient uptake) decreased. These result indicate that, the benefit of improved water and energy consumption and preparing of suitable level land for Agricultural machines movements balanced against negative effects of organic carbon decrease, physical properties alteration and varations of nutrient status.
