In order to study the effects of Nitrogen on grain yield and protein content of three new durum wheat genotypes in warm dry land condition of Gachsaran, This research was conducted through a factorial trial based on RCB design with 4 replications in 4 year (1382-1386)with growing season in Gachsaran agricultural research station. The nitrogen rates consisted of 4 Level of 0, 25, 50 and 75 kg/ha. The variety rates were consisted of 3 Thdurum wheat varieties. The pedigeries of these varieties are: V1=43210 Karaj, V2=MNA-1/RFM7 and V3=sara/2*plata-12. which combination of nitrogen rates and varieties made 12 combined treatments. The result of yield showed treatment N75V1 produced Maximum yield 3.945 t/ha. While treatment N0V2 produced minimum yield 2.783 t/ha. The result of the analysis of variance showed there were significant differences among N treatments at Level of 1% on tillering number, fertility tillering, plant height, spoke length, spoke/m2, seed/spoke, TKW, grain yield, dry matter weight and protein content. This treatment (N) no significant only on harvest index. The effect of varieties no significant differences on grain yield while there were significant differences at Level of 5% on tillering number, fertility tillering and dry matter weight. This treatment (V) was significant differences at Level of 1% on other factors. Interaction effect of nitrogen and variety was significant differences at Level of 1% on plant height, spoke length TKW and protein content but was not significant differences on other factors.
