The effect of Nitrogen sources (urea and scu, 180 kg/h N) and its application on yield of corn was investigated. The expriment design was a complote randomized block design with eight treatments and three replications. The treatments are as follows: T1: 90 kg/ha N (urea) at planting and flowering stages in boundry method. s after planting and flowering stages (fertigation method).T2: 90 kg/ha N (urea) at 25-30 T3: 6o kg/ha N (urea) in planting 15 days after planting and stages of...and tasseling (boundry method). T4: 60 kg/ha N (urea) at planting stage (boundry method), 60 kg/ha N (urea) 15 days after planting and 60 kg/ha N (urea) in taseling seages (fertigation method). 11 T5: 6o kg/ha N (urea) at planting , 60 kg/ha N (urea) 15 days after planting and 60 kg/ha N (urea) in taseling stages (fertigation method). T6: 180 kg/ha N (scu) at planting stage (boundry method) T7: 90 kg/ha N (scu) at planting stage (boundry method) and 90 kg/ha N (urea) and taseling stages (boundry method). T8: 90 kg/ha N (scu) at planting stage (boundry method) and 90 kg/ha N (urea) at taseling stage (fertigation method). The results showed that the effect of Nitrogen sources on yield corn was significant at 5% level for T2 and T5 and the most for T5. Which was more than 10% However T2 inereased the yield more the 7% in comparison with chek. The fifth and the seconed treatments (T5, T2) ar recommended to farmers in order to obtain the greatest yield. Som good chracteris tics to T3 are as followed: - It can be used during the growing cycle. - It increases the yield and decreases the worker costs.
