In order to evaluation of grain yield and some agronomic characteristics of some durum wheat line and cultivars, this experiment was conducted in Moghan Agricultural Research Center in 2001-2002 planting season. This experiment included one yield trial with 16 numbers of treatments in 3 replications. We used Seimareh cultivar as check in this experiment. Plot size was 1.2m×5m (7.2 m2). The result of analysis of variance for grain yield showed significant differences (1% level) among treatments. For selecting of lines we used yield potential, resistance to diseases, health and shape of seeds, plant high, number of tillers, resistance to lodging and early maturity. Therefore, finally based on characters and comparison among check and treatments we could select 5 numbers of the best lines (2, 4, 6, 12 and 13).means grain yield for these 5 lines was above of 3 T/ha. Line number 6 with pedigree of (D68-1-93A-1A//Ruff/Fg/3/…) with 36% high yield in comparison of check was the best line and selected as best one.
