In order to evaluate the possibility of grain and forage optimum corn production in saline area by field usage method, this research was conducted in feizabad agricultural research station (in Neyshabour) during 2005 and 2006.Every year two separate experiments (grain and forage) were conducted at factorial in Randomized Complete Block Design method with three replications. Treatments were: planting method(single or double line planting), plant location (in furrow or on ridge) and plant population density. ECe in first year and second year was 8 and 11 ds/m, respectively. In forage experiment, in first year, plant population density only affected on forage yield. Planting location treatment affected on hole of studied characteristics. In furrow planting had a better function in comparison with on ridge planting (+%11), but planting method was not significantly effect . In second year ,planting location treatment had a significant effect and forage yield increased with differing in planting location from on ridge planting (29.522 t/h) to in furrow planting (40.955 t/h).Also in planting method treatment, forage yield of double line planting in comparison with single line planting (37.771 and 32.752 ton/ha, respectively) had a %15.3 increasing rate . In grain experiment (2005), only the effect of plant population density on grain yield was significant in %5. In second year , grain yield was not affected significantly by plant population density and planting method, but grain yield increased equal %34.6 (585 kg/ha) by changing in planting location from on ridge planting to in furrow planting.
