In order to determine the most suitable Row spacing and planting spaces for the promising Sesame line (JL-13), this study was conducted. Row spacing and planting spaces were considered in three different levels (40, 50 and 60 cm) and (5, 10 and 15 cm) respectively. This experiment was laid out in factorial arranged in a randomized complete block design with four replications. During cultivation and harvesting period, the most important and effective characters in yield such as germination, flowering and maturing dates, number of capsules per plant, number of seeds per capsule, 1000 seeds weight, number of branches per plant, plant height, oil percentage and seed yield were recorded. The results of combined analysis of variance showed that the row spacing and planting space are affecting the mentioned factors. Increasing the row spacing from 40 to 50 cm resulted to higher seed yield but when it increased to 60 cm, the seed yield was significantly decreased. In addition to row spacing, the planting space also caused higher amounts of seed yield when increased from 5 to 15 cm. The maximum seed yield was obtained from planting patterns of 50 × 15 cm with 1742 kg/ha. In term of correlation among yield component, the number of capsule per plant showed the highest correlation with seed yield (r = 0.65). The highest number of capsule per plant was obtained from planting pattern of 50 × 15 cm. Increasing row spacing and planting space resulted in increasing of plant height and the number of branches per plant. Increasing either row spacing or planting space didn&rsquot affect the seed oil percentage and 1000 seed weight, it means these character are stable yield components.
