Recently, the decrease in the quality of grain becomes a problem in the Koshihikari cultivation in Aichi Prefecture. The brown rice quality decrease is occurrence of the white immature grain like back white grain and base immature grain. Occurrence of the white immature grain factors is decrease in the stalk nitrogen content and high temperature since ripening period. So, the white immature grain reduction plan with the additional fertilizer is tried. Therefore, the fertilizer that improves elution at the ripening period was made for trial purposes because the top dressing was difficult in the non-split fertilizer cultivation in this prefecture, and the effect of the occurrence reduction of white immature grain was examined. Fertilizer that improved nitrogen response at growth latter term (the ratio quick-acting fertilizer: linear type coated urea of 40 days: sigmoidal type coated urea of 100 days=1:1:8) was able to reduce the occurrence of white immature grain more than fertilizer of habitual fertilizer (the ratio quick-acting fertilizer: linear type coated urea of 40 days: sigmoidal type coated urea of 80 days=2:3:5). However, it is necessary to avoid excessive manure because the content of the brown rice protein rises for the nitrogen at the growth latter term increases.
