On the farm 'Oši', rural territory of Viesīte town, Jēkabpils region (Latvia) a field demonstration with aim to update most suitable plant growth stimulants and its application rate for the forage beans seeds before sowing, treatment for activation of vegetable growing and supplying plants with nitrogen have been carried out. Conclusions: (1) the highest forage bean yield - 2.52 t haE-1 have been obtained in variant, where nitragin have been used 1 g kgE-1 of seeds; (2) content of protected protein in all variants, where seeds have been treated with plant growth stimulants was higher over 3-11%; (3) application rate - 5 kg haE-1 of lignosilicon was so little and not give desirable results, except cases, when special seed treatment technology have been used. It is advisable to increase till 10 kg haE-1.
