This study was carried out to investigate the reproductive performances and to evaluate the skill level of management system such as feeding control, vaccination program, etc. Data surveyed from a total of 46 farms composed of 23 small and 23 big farms in Hongseong-gun, Chungnam were collected and analyzed on February to March, 2008. There is not significant difference between two farms size. However, ages at weaning and number of seed-stock of big farms are significantly better than those of small farms (p less than 0.001, p less than 0.05 respectively). The farrowing rate per year of big farms is significantly more excellent than that of small farms(p less than 0.05). The evaluation of feeding management system of the big farms is significantly superior to that of small farms(p less than 0.05). And then, the financial management of big farms is significantly better than that of small farms(p less than 0.05). Moreover, the system of hygiene and disinfection as well as feeding management should be carried out through the scientific management scheme.
