The modification of cultural and biosynthetical properties of the strain Streptomyces canosus CNMN-71 under the influence of mm-wave irradiation

Cultural properties, biomass formation and the content of lipids and lipid fractions have been studied in Streptomyces canosus CNMN-71 after exposure for 30 sec, 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, and 30 min to mm wave irradiation. Modifications of cultural properties occurred at 10 min and 30 min irradiation time. Smaller colonies with weakly developed aerial mycelium were observed in comparison with the control. Under 1,3, and 5 min action of mm waves the maximum quantity of biomass (138,8) and lipid fractions (phospholipids - 234,6; sterines - 172,2; mono- and diglycerides - 153.3 percent against the control) was noted.
