Science Communication plays a very crucial role in disseminating accurate and up-to-date scientific findings to the society. At present, however, there has been a discrepancy in understanding scientific breakthroughs as the information passes through the various levels of scientific audience, i.e., first from the scientists, then to the science communicators, and finally to the lay people, thereby creating a 'ripple effect'. Therefore, it is very essential that the above mentioned stakeholders have a mutual grasp and view of the scientific or technological breakthroughs. Accordingly there is necessity that their perception on science communication be well-documented so as to improved the information flow and provide a deeper perspective of the context of each stakeholder. Furthermore, it is important to draw out the constructs rooted from the various stakeholders because this provides the basis of their awareness on science communication as an emerging discipline that aims to document the process of scientific innovations for public awareness, its importance in society and to the target stakeholders. This study then attempted to look into the different constructs of each stakeholder in the science based-community of UP Los Baños, in as far as their awareness on Science Communication is concerned. The respondents included people representing each group-scientists, science communicators, and lay people. It also provided a detailed account of the respondents and how communication of scientific information and results influenced their lives.
