As experimental material was used the Creeping Wintergreen cultivated on the following combinations of bedding ground and bedding: 1) control, 2) soil + peat, 3) soil + peat + bedding of bark, 4) soil + peat + bedding of sawdust, 5) soil + peat + bedding of conifer needles, 6) soil + compost, 7) soil + compost + bedding of bark, 8) soil + compost + bedding of sawdust, 9) soil + compost + bedding of conifer needles. Soil enriched with peat or compost with applied ground beddings (of bark, sawdust, conifer needles) had an advantageous influence on coverage of plot area by Creeping Wintergreen plants. Soil enriched on the peat as well as with peat with simultaneous application of conifer needles bedding offered the best conditions for coverage of plot area by plants
