In this paper we present late blooming apricot selection from local population in Vojvodina (Serbia). Selection for this trait along with good yield and fruit quality began at the Faculty of Agriculture, Novi Sad (Serbia) 1998. Severe late spring frosts damaged the total apricot production that year. We found 22 apricot accessions that due to the late blooming escaped late spring frosts, 16 of them are presented here. Apricot selections significantly differ in vigour, yield and fruit quality. Based on field and lab fruit evaluation the following accessions were chosen SK-3, SK-1 and SK-13.
