Trial was carried out on 60 suckling lambs divided into two groups. Investigated metarial belonged to following genotypes: R2 (PxW) - Pramenka x Wuertemberg (two breed crosses)(1st); F1 (R2(PxW) x IdF - Pramenka x Wuertemberg x Ile de France (three breed crosses)(2nd). Average body mass of lambs at the beginning of trial was approx. 15 kg and at the end of trial approx. 30 kg. Fattening lasted for 60 days. Average daily gain was 239 g (1st) and 285 g (2nd). Conversion of hay and concentrate (g/kg) in different genotypes - 1st and 2nd was: 1610 and 2090 g (1st) and 1200 and 1770 g (2nd), energy (MJ NEM/kg): 22,76 (1st) and 18,76 (2nd), digestive crude protein - DCP (g/kg): 506 (1st) and 412 g (2nd). No significant difference between genotypes was established in regard to dressing percentage, yield of meat according to categories, chemical-technological and sensor traits of lamb meat.
