Within the field research of phytocenologic characteristics of the Moravica river basin hydrophilous ass. Carici bueckii-Alnetum glutinosae N. Randj. et V. Mill. 2007, has been distinguished in the upper flow of the Moravica river (Sokograd and Lepterija) with its differential species Alnus glutinosa and Carex bueckii and corresponding combination of species. The aim of the work is to establish phytocenous contents of the association and ecological conditions of the environment (indications of the Moravica river water quality) based on vascular plants index.
