Anaerobic digestion-AD as a fermentation process is one of the most important treatments on animal manures and other forms of organic sewages. Essentially, it is a common technology for municipal and industrial sewages filtration, which not only reduces their negative ecological influence, but also results in useful bioproduct in form of CH4. AD utilization is widely demonstrated in Asia with a few million of low capacity production equipments in China and India. However, in Europe the utilization of this technology is limited to some countries. The main reason for this is a partial political framework for creating attractive surroundings and promotion of technology which uses sustainable and renewable energy sources.
