Now the harlequin ladybird (Harmonia axyridis) arrieved to the south-eastern Europe. The beetle has been registered for the first time in Serbia in the Province of Vojvodina at the territory of the National Park Fruska Gora, locality Vorovo, UTM grid CQ79. Two colour forms of the beetle were registered, succinea and spectabilis form. We belive that the harlequin will continue spreading toward the East and the South of Serbia in the coming few years. Clearly, coccinellid communities should be now a matter of further study and a great deal of work remains to be done.
