Different strains of antagonistic bacteria and fungi have been actively tested from 1991 in order to discover their complex fungicidal, bactericidal and nematicidal activity in different plant communities and regions of Russia. Bacterial strains of Pseudomonas and Bacillus have been revealed in the results of field, pot and laboratory experiments in Moscow and the Moscow Region. They possess fungicidal, bactericidal and nematicidal effect and also they could be shown to stimulate plant growth and high yield of different varietes of test-plants (for example, Ribes rubrum, R. nigrum, Grossularia and Solanum tuberosum). The follow strains are sorted out: 4 strains of B. thuringiensis (var. israeleensis, var. thuringiensis, var. sotto), 2 strains of B. polymixa, 2 strains of Pseudomona fluorescens (AR-33 and AR-163) and 1 strain of P. aureofaciens. The first 4 strains have the highest nematicidal activity. The mentioned strains can regulate number of virus-vector nematodes of Longidoridae and Trichodoridae and their associated viruses. The strains can be considered as natural regulators of parasite quantity and distribution.
