The questions relating to solving a problem of protection of plants from root-knot nematodes of genus Meloidogyne in greenhouses conditions are considered. From the historical point of view an analysis of biological means of fighting root-knot nematodes (various species of predator fungi; bacteria Pasteuria penetrans capable to produce high death rate in larvae of root-knot nematodes; fungi of Deuteromycota group Paecilomyces lilacinus and Pochonia chlamydosporia) which, unlike predatory fungi, attack not larvae but eggs and females was performed. Theoretical models of number of dynamics in a root-knot nematodes population in conditions of usage of the biological agents possessing larvicidal or ovecidal effect, and also model of conditions of these agents used together are presented. These models prove a necessity of considering age structure of a root knot nematodes population for chooosing the most effective means of their number control
