The study on the dependence of lasalocid residues in eggs and laying hens tissues on its concentration in feeding stuffs is presented. After three days feeding with the feeding stuff containing lasalocid at the concentration of 5.7 mg/kg, lasalocid residues appeared in egg yolk possibly at the concentration higher than the maximum residue limit (MRL). The concentration remained higher than MRL still six days after use of the feeding stuff containing lasalocid. In the case of the feeding stuff containing lasalocid at the concentration of 3.2 mg/kg, the residue concentration exceeded MRL on the day seven using the feeding stuff and remained above MRL still four days after use of the feeding stuff. In the case of both lasalocid concentrations in feeds, on the day seven of the experiment, very high concentrations of lasalocid were detected in egg folicles of sacrificed animals. Concerning the concentration of lasalocid in analyzed tissues (liver, kidneys, meat, skin and fat, abdominal fat), on the day seven MRL was exceeded in samples of liver and kidneys.
