In short operation two- years experiment the biodegradation of oil agents in heavily contaminated soil by diesel fuel and motor oil was studied. As a biodegradation method the compostation was chosen. Compost experiment had 5 alternatives of compostation technology. The produced compost has included in the soil in autumn in small parcel experiment with sugar beet and maise corn. The results showed that by compostation in a period of 120 days it is possible to degrade oil agents in soil with 79 to 86% of effectiveness. By compostation the soil heavily contaminated by oil agents was stabilised to earthy non-toxic compost with a high content of humus agents suitable for cultivation of the sugar beet.
