In agricultural production execution there is a discussion on effects of financial means expenditure in agricultural sector. An insurance protection can intervene as one of the active instrument in the risks controlling area. There are indicated some possibilities of agricultural risk protection. The aim of them is to inform the expert public with existed problems and types of risks in agriculture. At the same time there is a list of products for protection and coverage of agricultural risks in commercial insurance companies in the Slovak Republic.
