anglais. Analysed are development of genetico-biotechnological methods in animal husbandry in Ukraine and the state their use in this country. With the aim of increasing the effectiveness of the breeding processes, aimed at recreating the desired animal genotypes and preserving the genetic pool, it is necessary to use the results of domestic genetico-biotechnological methods of the world level in complex. The data of research work on animals of various breeds allows to recommend introducing the modern methods of DNA–testing, biotechnological developments using nanotechnologies in the practice of animal production that will improve the effectiveness of breeding process and will allow arranging the system monitoring of the quality of the breeding material and preserving the genetic pool.

З метою підвищення ефективності селекційного процесу, спрямованого на відтворення бажаних генотипів тварин і збереження генофонду, потрібно комплексно використовувати результати вітчизняних генетично-біотехнологічних методів світового рівня. Дані науково-дослідної роботи на тваринах різних порід дають змогу рекомендувати впровадження сучасних методів ДНК–аналізу, біотехнологічних розробок з використанням нанотехнології у практику тваринництва, що підвищить ефективність селекційного процесу і допоможе налагодити систематичний моніторинг якості племінного матеріалу та збереження генофонду.
