Study adsorption of phorbol esters from Jatropha curcas oil for using as raw material for biodiesel production. Seven types of commercial bentonite: A, B, C, D, E, PTT1 and PTT2 are used as adsorbent. The result show bentonite C is the highest capacity in phorbol esters adsorption. The optimum condition in adsorption of bentonite C is 6 percent by weight per volume of bentonite concentration, 60 minute of adsorption time, 200 rpm of stir rate, 25 deg C of temperature. This condition can decrease 95 percent of phorbol esters content. In addition, the adsorption of phorbol esters is fix well with Langmuir isotherm.
