Agarwood fruit storage showed the dehiscence power capacity at 3 days following ambient condition of 15 days after low temperature fruit storage following ambient condition. The dehiscence seed number was limited in the longer low temperature fruit storage. Low temperature storage of agarwood fruit showed the fresh appearance and green color fruit but the color was changed and shrinkage fruit was observed when fruit was subsequently placed in ambient temperature. The extracted seed from low temperature agarwood fruit storage, showed the high seed moisture content and high seed viability at 100 percent. However, that threshed seed was 50-70 percent seed germination after 2 months low temperature storage and 25-87 percent seed viability after 3 months low temperature storage. Comparison with the farmer- harvested seed, which was 15-22 percent germination and 30-40 percent viability after low temperature seed storage. This study was referable that agarwood seed was the recalcitrant seed performance which a very sensitive to desiccation. The low temperature storage for agarwood fruit was the most effective method for a significantly maintaining high seed quality.
