Interview of 68 promoted farmers from district executing organization at Amphoe Thungyai Nakhon Si Thammarat on native cattle productive condition and basic characteristic gave the results are as fallow. The farmers were male as 91 percent which had 31-50 years old. Their member was 3-6 person per family which educated from primary school. Main occupation was gardening which owned the land for 5 rais. The number of cattle was 1-3 heads per family and naturally breed. The data collection on productive performance of the farmers for 3 years reveal that the different color among the cattle had no effect on their yield but the different productive condition had effect on their yield (P LT 0.05). The cattle that grazed in the para rubber plantation and rice field with para rubber plantation gave the yield and the compensation higher than the cattle that grazed near by the klong. The yield comparison of native cattle breed, Kampaengsaen breed and Kampaensaen hybrid (at Faculty of Agriculture at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya ) reveal that the native cattle breed had lower yield(P LT 0.01) but the popularity of the farmers affirmed to breed the native cattle breed because their easiness to take care and sell, resistance to disease and breed to be fighting cattle breed.
