The influence of aqueous extract of oak (Quercus robur) on the physiological and biochemical indexes of the development of Chinese oak silkworm (Antheraea pernyi G.-M.) in Belarus were studied. The worms were fed with branches of birch (Betula pendula) and osier (Salix viminalis L.). The influence of the treatment of grain with aqueous extract of oak on vitality and producing capacity of Chinese oak silkworm were measured. Increase of protein, triglyceride and glucose content as well as activity of catalase, gamma-glutamiltransferase, spartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase in the hemolymph of caterpillars and chrysalises point out the rise of the Antheraea pernyi metabilism under the influence of the Quercus robur bark extract. Betula pendula is concerned these characteristics rise to a greater extent if compared to Salix viminalis and the proven differences are preserved when affected by a biosimulant
