Control of Bolboschoenus sp. in sugar beet

The objective of our experiments was to study different biological characteristics of Bolboschoenus sp., such as the production of seeds, tubers and biomass, as well as the use of herbicides Fusilade Super, Agil 100 EC, Targa Super 5 EC and Pantera 40 EC to control these weeds. Bolboschoenus plants are characterised by a high regeneration. In order to control them efficiently, it is necessary to combine different control methods during several consecutive years.
