Winged bean (cv. Tpt 1) grown under four different photoperiods showed that root nodule number and weight significantly decreased under short daylengths with early flowering and increased seed yield while long daylengths gave significantly lower number of nodules with no difference in nodule weight and no flowering, when compared to plants grown under normal daylength.
