Shahbazi, Kamal | Allah Hassani, Bahman
This study was performed with 269 durum wheat genotypes including two experiments (PDWYT, DWYT-A). In both experiments, each genotype was planted in 6 rows, with 6 meters length and spacing 20 centimeters. The advance yield trial was conducted through RCBD with 3 replications. The primary yield trial was conducted through systematic trial that use 2 check number (Seymareh and Kohdasht) after each 10 numbers. The most important characteristics that be used were including high grain yield, resistant to yellow rust, shuttering, days to maturity and days to heading, plant high. In the primary experiment 30 genotype were selected from 249 genotypes, with high grain yield or equal to check and possessed good agronomical characteristics. The result of DWYT-A test showed that there were not significant differences between lines for grain yield. Thus, only based on other characters we selected two lines better than cheeks. Lines number 1 and 13 with 763 and 744 kg/ha grain yield, respectively.
