Transplanting stage of seedling and planting depth influence yield of vegetable crops. An experiment was conducted on tomato C.V. Petoearly CH for two years. Seed was cultivated in nursery and then seedling was transplanted to field at three stages: four leaves, six leaves and eight leaves. In fact, date of seed sowing in nursery was same for three stages but date of transplanting was difference. Three planting depths were used for seedlings: to the rootball, the cotyledon leaves and the first true leaf. The research was carried out at factorial experiment based on randomized with four replications. The results showed that with reduction in the number of leaves from eight to four, percent of seedlings death after transplanting and vegetative growth decreased, and earliness and first harvest yield and total yield increased. Minimum number of days to flowering and fruit maturity and maximum number fruits, first harvest yield and total yield obtained from first true leaf and was significantly different with other depths.
