About 25 – 30 percent of total crop yields in the world are destroyed by insects, weeds and diseases anually. This rate may reach to 80% if no control measures are used. Field sprayers are instruments which are applied to disperse chmical pesticides for pests control. The sprayer efficency is evaluated by studying the number of pesticide point and dispersion of them. In the other hand, penetration of pesticide particles inside the crop hills is an important factor which shows the biological effect of a sprayer. As the sucking insect are more active under leaves and also in the bottom of plants so the sprayers and the booms which have the ability to spray under leave and bottom of the plants were compared in this study. Regarding the hight of cotton plants, the hand holds sprayers was applied in this study. The experiment was carried out in Gorgan as (R. C. B. D) with five treatmens and four replications. The treatments were included: 1-One row mist blower, 2-Two row mist blower, 3- Automize sprayer with installated microner in 90؛ to the lancer, 4-Handy boom with 6 nozyles in 3 rows and 5-Ordinary automizer sprayer (ckeck). In order to evaluate the efficacy of the sprayer the sensitive papers to water were put into the three levels of plant bottom, midle and top of the cotton plant. The results revealed that the more acceptable droplet densities with emphasizing the spraying pattern were treatments numbers 3, 4, 1, 2 and 5 in decreasing order.
