There are two important trees of Prosopis spicigera and Acacia nilotica in South Baluchestan .Seed beetle Caryedon palestinicus Southgate has been identified as one of the servious pest of the Prosopis spicigera and Acacia nilotica . Biology of Caryedon palestinicus has been studied during 2002- 2005under both natural and lab.Condition , at 32 C with 80 % R.H.. . Average time taken for egg incubation period , larval period , and pupation till emergence of adults at 30 C and 85 % R.H have been determind as 5.5 , 20.5, 9.7 days accordingly .The time requirement for completion one generation ( Egg to adults ) under similar condition was ranged 31-38 days . Mean laid eggs under lab condition has been calculated 51.9. Six generation for the pest has been detemind under South Baluchestan climatic conditions . Two parasitoeids wasps family chalcididae and Braconidae . The family chalcididae as an pupa parasit and namely Bracon sp (Braconidae ) that attack larval instar were identified , and also one species of predator collected of Pseudoscorpion and namely Caelifer sp that attack eggs and larvae of first generation .
